Here at Konnect PR, a large part of our jobs in working with clients comes in the form of helping shape company and product image. This includes the look of a brand’s website, presentation of product packaging, and even brand logo. As simple as the latter may appear, it tells a lot in a little way. A brand’s logo speaks volumes about the company. It immediately tells a potential customer if you are reliable and instills trust in them. Although good service matters, how one presents their company is what will win consumer’s trust and in the end win them as a client.
A recent article on Wallet Pop lists the hidden meanings in 12 popular logos, stating that after disecting these images your views will forever be changed. Here are a few of them…
-FedEx: If you look at the white space between the “E” and the “x” you can see a right-facing arrow. This “hidden” arrow was intended to be a subliminal symbol for speed and precision.
-Amazon.com: The yellow arrow is more than just a decorative swoosh, it was created to represent the message that Amazon sells everything from A to Z (the arrow connects the two letters), and also represents the smile that customers would experience by shopping on the Amazon.com web site (the arrow becomes a smile).
And although Konnect PR’s logo didn’t make the list (to be honest we don’t know what to call it, right Shelby?), for inquiring minds it symbolizes union, and all of the different facets of Konnect PR (team, clients, products) coming together as one to form this amazing company that does it all! :).
