UX/UI Designer

We’re seeking a UX/UI Designer who is eager to lead usability with a strong focus on the discover/explore/test/listen/iterate cycle. In this role you will work alongside design teams, product management, development, and business stakeholders to drive a user-centered design approach and develop iterative testing plans that generate the right insights to inform the next iteration. This role embodies a passionate, creative, yet pragmatic design doer & leader that can empathize with customer needs and behaviors, identify opportunities and successfully transform requirements into intuitive and elegant solutions.

Requirements

  • Create conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and user interface specifications.
  • Research customer needs and work with internal and external partners to design innovative customer experiences.
  • Present design work to design team, product team, executives and external partners for review and feedback.
  • Possess the ability to confidently defend design rationale used to create solutions in design reviews.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience
  • A strong online portfolio of example e-commerce and app projects you’ve led in a hands-on capacity.
  • Understanding of iOS and Android (mobile) design guidelines
  • General understanding of Information Architecture
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, development, and marketing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to visually communicate complex concepts in simple-to-define terms
  • Sharp eye for detail in design to ensure a smooth implementation with Development
  • Deep appreciation and talent for generating simple solutions to complex problems
