At Konnect, the Director of Paid Search is responsible for overseeing paid search strategies on selected accounts, as well as contributing to cross-channel media plans as needed. We are looking for someone with 6-8 years of experience running paid social campaigns, more specifically across Meta and Google. You will work within the Web Development and Ad Operations teams to build strategies that optimize awareness and conversion campaigns and will report directly to the VP of Digital.

The role requires a thorough understanding of a client’s business needs and goals to ensure these are met and any future opportunities for growth are raised. This position will be accountable for driving best-in-class innovative work, as well as contributing to internal departmental initiative.

Requirements

  • Create, manage and direct paid search strategies across multi-platform social advertising
  • Have a full understanding of strategy and how it correlates with performance marketing
  • Oversee a team of one and support the build and optimization of Facebook and Instagram paid advertising campaigns to ensure they meet client goal
  • Have a deep understanding of Google and Facebook analytics - be able to clearly communicate findings, trends, and optimizations to the clien
  • Work with cross-functional teams to recognize new service and growth opportunities
  • Accountable for thought leadership activity both with the client and internally, putting forward new topics of interest and championing creative strategic thinking
  • Inspire and challenge the client with innovative and digital-first marketing solutions
  • Ensure effective communication across internal teams and across the client

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience working with Paid Social
  • Track record of efficient campaigns that are conversion-based (not engagement-focused ie. likes, comments, shares, etc.)
  • Must have an advanced understanding of split testing, reporting, and optimization for performance-based ROIs
  • Mastery of all relevant social platforms ads managers - Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
