UX Designer

We’re seeking a UX Designer who is eager to lead usability with a strong focus on the discover/explore/test/listen/iterate cycle. In this role you will work alongside design teams, product management, development, and business stakeholders to drive a user-centered design approach and develop iterative testing plans that generate the right insights to inform the next iteration. This role embodies a passionate, creative, yet pragmatic design doer & leader that can empathize with customer needs and behaviors, identify opportunities and successfully transform requirements into intuitive and elegant solutions.

Requirements

Create conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and user interface specifications.
Research customer needs and work with internal and external partners to design innovative customer experiences.
Present design work to design team, product team, executives and external partners for review and feedback.
Possess the ability to confidently defend design rationale used to create solutions in design reviews.

Qualifications

5+ years of design experience
A strong online portfolio of example e-commerce and app projects you’ve led in a hands-on capacity.
Understanding of iOS and Android (mobile) design guidelines
General understanding of Information Architecture
Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet milestones and deadlines
Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, development, and marketing
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to visually communicate complex concepts in simple-to-define terms
Sharp eye for detail in design to ensure a smooth implementation with Development
Deep appreciation and talent for generating simple solutions to complex problems
